Voices for Animals Adoption Drive on 2nd and 3rd April 2016

Voices for Animals (VFA) will be having their adoption drive on the 2nd & 3rd April 2016, Saturday & Sunday, 1.00pm to 5.00pm at No 11, Pasir Ris farmway 2, Mutts & Mittens open field.

A message from Mr. Derrick Tan, President of VFA:

We have close to 200 over dogs for adoption, which includes the current case of 22 the dogs that was abandoned and surrendered by the owner. On Top of that, our resident dogs in VFA who are also looking for their forever homes that they were taken over from breeding farm that was closed down, retired dogs from breeding farm, and some dogs that were bailed out from Ava which were surrendered in by their owners, each and every dog in VFA has a story to tell.

The dogs are mainly adults to senior dogs, majority of the dogs are Hdb approved, the breeds we have for adoption varies from, chihuahua, poodles, Japanese Chin, Maltese, Jack Russell terrier, Yorkshire terrier, silky terrier, Pomeranians, Shih Tzu, Japanese spitz, mini schnauzers, mini dachshund,

Chow chow (non Hdb approved), golden retriever (non Hdb approved), cocker spaniel, crossed breeds, French Bulldogs, British bulldog (non Hdb approved).

Please do help us share the post and get more people to come down to our adoption drive and speak to our screening officials, please have the WHOLE family to be present during the interview and screening, please also bring along your NRIC along for verification purpose.

VFA reserve all rights to reject any family whom we feel that is not suitable for our dogs, we have all right to not disclose reason for the rejected application, if any incomplete application during the adoption drive will be void.

Please read thru our T&C and our rules and regulation, all successful adopters will have to fulfil to all the requirement required by VFA such as Dog licensing with Ava, vet checks and sterilisation.

There will be a $250 adoption fee applied to all successful adoption, all the money received will be gathered for the usage of maintaining VFA such as the medical bills of our resident dogs which resulted to closed to SGD $35,000 outstanding of medical bills, our full time worker, essential stuffs for the animals, our transports cost to send the animals to the vet, the pet food, and our rental that we incurred to house the remaining dogs at another pet boarding house which cost us around $6,000 a month.

Please do drop by our adoption drive and share the meaningful event with your friends and getting them to come forward to adopt a less fortunate animals from VFA, they are all looking for a forever home.

Our interview and screening process are very stringent and strict because we care for our rescued animals and wants the best for them, we apologise in advance should you have been rejected during the interviewing process, maybe our rescued animals ain’t suitable for your lifestyle. We hope that you can understand on why we are so strict with the interview. We have seen many failed cases and animals went to the wrong family and in the end, the animals suffered, we are trying to minimise that from happening. We seek your understanding.
