Bare Hands Bayenetu – An Ethiopian Feast (Vegetarian/Vegan)

Are you an eat-with-your-bare-hands virgin? Then come join us for a traditional Bayenetu, an Ethiopian meat-free feast!

EVERYONE is going to be eating with their hands for this one. Just like in a traditional Ethiopian restaurant, no cutlery will be served.

12 seats only.

What to expect?
Savour the traditional Bayenetu, an Ethiopian meat-free platter suitable for vegetarians/vegans! Dietary/allergy restrictions can be catered to if notified in advance. Plus, meet some amazing people at this uber casual event!

Where is it held?
Usually at my home in Singapore’s far east. The address will be sent to you a week before the event. Please let me know if you are coming

How much is it?
$20. The entire amount will go to Save Our Street Dogs (, a local organisation dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming stray and abandoned dogs.

All food costs will be borne by me. Within a week of the event, I’ll post a picture of the donation receipt from SOSD.

Why am I doing this?
With the notion that one can’t give enough, I started this initative to practice chopping an onion without crying, meet other fabulous likeminded foodies and contribute to a good cause, all at the same time!

See you soon!
