Healthy Chinese New Year Snacks Workshop – Make and Eat Your Own Raw Food Creations!

Date: Monday 26 December 2016 (Public Holiday), 2.00-5.00pm.
Venue: Klang Valley (exact location will be provided upon payment)

Join Raw Chef Yin at this hands-on workshop to learn how to make healthy, wholesome goodies for your friends & family specially for Chinese New Year.

You will learn how to make:

1. Lucky Donuts – donut, donut glaze, donut topping
2. Almond London Cookies
3. Golden Prosperity Tarts

Traditionally, Chinese New Year cookies are filled with white sugar, refined wheat flour, dairy and unhealthy fats – making them extremely bad for your body.

However, there are sin-free alternatives where you can learn from Raw Chef Yin how to make yummy cookies and tarts that are filled with superfood goodness. These are all raw, vegan recipes – no milk, no butter, no cream, no eggs, no refined sugar, no white flour. Instead we will be using whole nuts, seeds, healthy fats and dried fruits to transform them into delicious guilt-free goodies!

This is a hands-on workshop where you will be making these wonderful appetising treats under the guidance of Raw Chef Yin. You will get to enjoy these delicious, energy-giving, living foods after you finish making them and also have a chat with Raw Chef Yin on any of your questions regarding raw food.

A full set of step-by-step handouts will be provided so that you can go back and easily make these tasty CNY goodies at home too.

As this is a plant-based workshop with no animal products used, it is suitable for vegans and vegetarians as well as anyone who is interested in clean eating and a healthy lifestyle.

These recipes are designed to be easily made at home if you have a basic food processor. There’s no need for extra raw food tools like a dehydrator or a spiralizer.
