Hosted by The Uncomplicated Diner
Let’s kickstart our first event of 2017 with treasures of the Earth! Inspired by the the concept of urban farming, this time I’ll be experimenting with dishes using ingredients you can grow in your own home garden.
So, join me and other food culture enthusiasts for lunch as we reminiscise the year gone by, and look forward to brand new beginnings. Of course as always, dietary/allergy restrictions can be catered to if notified in advance.
Where is it held?
Usually at my home in Singapore’s far east. The address will be sent to you a week before the event. Please let me know if you are coming at theuncomplicateddiner@gmai
How much is it?
$20. The entire amount will go to the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (www.das.org.sg), a local social enterprise dedicated to helping dyslexic people and those with specific learning differences.
All food costs will be borne by me. Within a week of the event, I’ll post a picture of the donation receipt from DAS.
Why am I doing this?
With the notion that one can’t give enough, I started this initative to practice chopping an onion without crying, meet other fabulous likeminded foodies and contribute to a good cause, all at the same time!
See you in March!
