Vegetarian Food Photography Workshop

Calling all Vegetarians and Vegans!  Join us for a special food photography workshop at Blue Bistro Cafe.

Join CIA resident instructor Nugene Chiang on 9th July for a fun filled 2-hour workshop that will focus on food styling & photography in a casual and lifestyle manner under different lighting conditions. Nugene will be showing live demos on styling your dish and also share his knowledge on how to photograph food at different angles and compositions. He will also share tips and tricks for better couple photographs so hurry and sign up now!

Instructor Bio:

Nugene has been a Trainer at Canon Imaging Academy for the past 6 years, sharing his knowledge of photography with customers and workshop participants. His passion for food photography is driven by his experience as a commercial/stock photographer of 12 years and he hopes to continue learning and sharing with anyone who enjoys food photography as well.

Appetiser: Fruit Satay

Skewered tropical cut fruits served with freshly made peanut sauce.

Main course: Signature Blue Rice Set Meal with Nasi Briyani at the side

Dessert: Pancake Sandwich filled with mascarpone cheese, honey roasted corn flakes and fruits.

Note: For vegan participants, we will use appropriate alternatives. The vegetarian fish in our Blue Rice set is replaced with fermented bean curd (tempeh). As for the pancake sandwich, we will be using almond milk and ‘tofu’ cheese as the substitute.
